Many places charge you for the “little things” such as playing with your pet, giving them extra attention, offering them treats, or administering medications. At Cinder Hills, you don’t pay extra for these things! We even include individual playtime in the kennel yard (dogs) or tree house time in the Purring Parlor (cats)! There are only 2 things that you can “order” above and beyond our boarding experience (see below).

NOTE: We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards. However, we offer a discount of $1/day per pet if you pay by cash.

We calculate boarding fees much like a hotel. You are charged for the day you drop off no matter what the time is because we are holding the space. Check out time is 1:00 PM. All guests checked out before 1:00 PM will not be charged for that day. Customers picking up on Sunday will not be charged for that day due to shorter hours.



Extras
As mentioned above, there are only 2 things you can obtain that are not included in our boarding fees. The first is if you want your dog to have a bath before it goes home. We only offer a bath and nails, as we are not professional groomers. If we give your dog a bath on the day he/she goes home, the 1:00 checkout time does not apply, as we typically will not have them ready until after that time. Prices vary for the baths depending upon size, coat, temperament, and so on. Please book the bath when you make your reservation as we have limited slots available. We do not give baths on Wednesdays or Sundays due to our shorter hours those days.

The other “extra” is our Fun in the Forest hike and has proven to be a very popular item with many of our guests! It consists of a 1 to 3 mile hike in the National Forest (which we back up to), depending upon how far your family member wants to go. These are not your typical walk around the block hikes! We have a number of different trails that we utilize that give different degrees of difficulty depending upon your pet’s ability. These hikes run $9/hike or you can buy a package of 5 for $40. You can buy a package of hikes and carryover any hikes not used. If you have a multi-dog family and want the hikes, you can purchase them for a flat $6/dog per hike since we will walk them together.
